Kyoto: Kawaramachi Local Bar & Izakaya Crawl Tour

A Kyoto izakaya tour through Kawaramachi and Kiyamachi, the two quarters where the city actually goes out. You spend three hours in small rooms along the Takase canal and in the alleys off Shijo, with a guide who orders, translates and explains what has arrived at the table.

1. Shijo Kawaramachi

   Meet your guide outside the Disney Store on Shijo.

2. First izakaya

   A local room in the busiest part of Kyoto.

3. The alleys

   A walk through the lanes between the two quarters.

4. Kiyamachi

   The final bar, along the canal.

Outside the Disney Store at Shijo-Kawaramachi, on the main street. Your guide carries a Travel Japan Together sign and will contact you on WhatsApp beforehand, so you can reach them directly on the night.
